PBDE are used as flame retardants in many commercial products.

Chemical Properties

- Non Flammable


-Toxic to animals


-non viscous

PBDEs have been found all around us, in the air, water, and ground.

PBDE's are organo bromine compounds


Found in:
building materials, electronics, furnishings, motor vehicles, airplanes, plastics, polyurethane foams, and textiles, furniture, TV's, stereos, computers, carpet, curtains.

Dangers:
Dangers can come from ingestion of food and by inhalation.
They can bio accumulate in blood, breast milk, and fat tissues.
Damages the nervous and reproductive system

  10. carly mccann :)- starting with the positive, the graph looks really good and shows the information well! i think it could've looked a little better with a bit more colour but black is okay, interesting blog guys i like it :)
